I'm the kind of person who needs to see proof of something before I believe it. There's a lot of times this is a good thing (we should all be wary of misinformation), but I find it important to remind myself that there's still mystery out there--things we don't know an answer to or simply don't make sense to us. This song is an attempt to balance out my want to know an answer for everything with the fact that there are some things we don't now know and may never know.

to fill in the gaps of what we don't know
or what we can't make sense of.
